Vascular injury of the brachycephalic trunk from vascular access: case report

Central vascular accesses are very useful tools for the treatment and diagnosis of various medical conditions such as administration drugs solutions, chemotherapy, hemodialysis, hemodynamic monitoring. A review clinical record a 59-year-old patient treated at tertiary hospital was performed. We presented case with lesion brachiocephalic truncus arteriosus derived from placement dialysis catheter. Vascular access is routine procedure in many critical services, however it important to know detail anatomy surgical technique reduce risk complications.
